Hey all.

just an article to inform everyone visting the site that Ds are no longer involved with Crysis, technically we were never in the game Crysis seeing as the server failed to work. which means we never had the ability to play on the game.

Firstly, the Ds server couldn't be set up on the game due to technical issues. After trying many work arounds for this problem we resorted to asking forums for help.( the games offical forums and an fan made forums) We hosted the server for a month, running tests and hoping the problem would be resolved. This problem is still unkown and therefore we could not recruit any members from the server meaning Ds could not fully move onto the game Crysis. As we do not know the cause of this problem, we cannot pin point who's error it was, therefore no one can be blamed for this issue.

Secondly, the game crysis has many hacks and cheats that can be utilized at any point in the game. this means that the online play would be very poor and would give the vision that the Ds Clan allows unfair play, which is not what we as a Clan desire. New trainers/hacks were being programed everyday to make hacking easier on this game. which means hackers could work around secruity put in place on the server meaning we could not fully control the amount of cheating taking place on the server, also giving the Ds clan a bad reputation, if the server had been set up it would be a very risky game to move onto because the reputation of the Ds clan could have been affected, even if only slightly.

As a result of these two problems we are no longer holding a server for Crysis, and are no longer involved with Crysis in any way as a clan. As Vortex stated in the forums, he has remade the banner and the intro movie and removed any presence of Crysis.

The Dark Shadows Clan is still considering new games to spread onto for the future!!

Hello everyone.

Due to the update in the game, peoples levels will have reset to zero. this means it appears that no one has even played a battle.net game. However your profile still shows the wins and loses of your profile. This unfortunatly also means that people technically should no longer have the rank of Grunt due to no one being level 10.

However...I personally believe that because in the future there will be more patches/updates for this game, and peoples levels will constantly be reset. that the rank of grunt shouldn't be judged by your Level, but your number of wins. For instance, if you want the rank of Grunt you would have to earn it by gaining 20 wins instead of being level 10.(Obviously the amount of wins would be different for certain situations) This would mean that people would not lose their ranks for not playing a serious match for around 2 weeks, and after patches.

But because i am only a Co-leader of this game, it is not my choice to do this without consulting with ShadowStalker, so therefore i will talk with Stalker about this Idea and get back to you guys.

On a final note, i also believe this is a better idea than levels because skill is shown by the numbers behind the levels. for example a person with 300 wins and 250 loses may have a level of 5 because they decided to stop playing Battle.net games, but that does not mean that they have the skill of someone who has only won 5 matches.

Skill is shown by the amount of wins compared to the amount of loses, not the generated number next to someones name.

hey all, thought i would just let you know what is happening in the Crysis world.

first of all, there is an unkown problem with the Crysis server, which is causing players to be kicked, or disconnected from the server, there does not seem to be any problems in the installation of the server or any techinical issues, however the Crysis Server still does not let players connect.

Secondly, there is a new Crysis game coming out, called Crysis Warhead. i am not sure whether this is an expansion of the game or a whole new Crysis game. in this new game you play as the role of one of your team mates on the other side of the island your on. the game will be improved drastically in this new game and apprently multi player is much better.

As i said before, i am not sure whether this new Crysis title is a whole new game or an extension. i will tell you more when i find out.

where i have advertised our server ( http://www.crysis-online.com/forum/index.php/topic,26132.new.html#new ) the topic has got 235 views at the moment, and is still increasing everyday. however i believe that these Viewers cannot access the server because of the technical issue. therefore i will also get back to you on the number of players on crysis if/when this problem is sorted.

Just to inform you that the Ds Chat Room has been upgraded and a few fixes in addition to that you can no undock it so you can stay in the chat room but still browse the site to do this all you have to do is enter your username and passowrd for this site in the form below the chat room click submit it will open a new window and log you into the chat room.

Also i have removed the old games the the Ds Clan played from the banner and made a category Archive Game were all the old info will stay from now on.

I have created a new article Category Named 'Crysis News'for the Ds Clan

Also congratulation to max for becoming a game moderator on Freelancer may he police the sector well. With this he can set up matchs, fox hunts etc also has the abilty to sort out problems for other players and of course to encourge fair fun game play

Well is now official Ds have left Star Trek Armada 1 and Lord of the Rings Battle for middle Earth.

These game are old and collect no new players for Ds non of our members play on these game or very few its not worth staying on a game that we cannot be part of the community on.

There was a post in the forums with a poll however very few voted or even posted to the topic and therfore the desision was down to me -V- so i have opted to leave both games never to return to them there will be an archive section were all of old games info will be posted.

For now we will not be moving to another game but we will concentrate on the games we play at the moment. We are however always looking to spread throughout the gaming world so if you have any suggestions then please by all means post something on the forums if you have any ideas of what game maybe suitable for Ds.

Ds started on Armada 1 but has become even larger than the community on A1 we have grown we have prospered but we will never forget

this means we have unlimited access to crysis online aslong as the server is running. which means we are able to play the game without cheaters which you would normally find on nearly every other server. the Clan server will be watched closely and reports of cheaters can be posted on the site under 'BloodThirst - Crysis' and we will do our best to deal with them obviously complaints and suggestions can also be posted in the forums. anyone who follows the rules are welcome on our server.

 hey all, once again we have a Ds member that has managed to fight his way to level 10.

DsShadowShikaru  has acheived level 10 in batte net games and will be promoted to grunt as soon as his probationary period ends. This goes to show that Ds members work hard for their ranks. Shikaru hasn't even been in the clan for a week but has worked hard for the rank of grunt.
